Day 14 ~ Namche Bazaar (Rest Day)

As we had a little bit of spare time up our sleeve, we told Ram that we’d like to stay here at Namche for another day, just to have a well-earned rest! He agreed that this would be a good idea. We had a reasonable sleep in this morning, followed by a late breakfast.

Once the sun had warmed the place up a bit, we ventured outside and explored the town. We walked up nearly every little street and poked around in all of the cute little shops.

As all the trekkers head out on acclimatisation walks and move on to the next part of their trek, Namche is almost like a ghost town during the middle of the day. It was good to see the locals going about their every day lives without the hassle of tourists.

After visiting the famous Everest Bakery for a few more treats, we took it easy for the rest of the day and caught up on some much needed relaxation.
